Description

The Computation & Data Science Education (CDSE) Faculty Fellowship program is designed to support the incorporation of computation and data science in humanities, social sciences, and life and physical sciences curricula and classrooms in discipline-specific ways.

The fellowship provides fellows with pedagogical and technology development support and offers a strong community of practice for educators to share best practices and technological approaches. The fellowship is focused on the deliberate design and re-design of courses across Arts & Science disciplines.

Each fellow will receive up to $16,000 and support from the Office of the Dean’s Teaching & Learning team to realize their course design project.

Eligibility

  1. Candidates may be continuing status faculty members in the tenure or teaching stream (pre- and post-promotion), or contractually limited term appointments (CLTAs), in the Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George campus).
  2. Fellows may choose to participate while on research and study leave. Priority will be given to courses in first-entry undergraduate Faculty of Arts & Science degree programs.
