Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation
The Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI) is the central hub for teaching support at U of T, providing leadership and support for teaching and learning across the University. CTSI offers support for undergraduate and graduate education through the following interrelated areas:
- faculty development
- educational technology
- learning-centered instructional practices
- assessment of student learning and teaching, including the collection and interpretation of student feedback
CTSI delivers this support and leadership through a combination of face-to-face and online programming, consultations, community building, research and resources, both in person and online.
CTSI is a good starting point for questions related to:
- CTSI reports to the Vice-Provost, Innovation in Undergraduate Education
- The Academic & Collaborative Technologies support team is embedded within CTSI
- CTSI collaborates with the Online Learning Strategies portfolio to deliver programming related to online teaching and learning
- CTSI collaborates with U of T Libraries on the Partnering for Academic Student Success (PASS) initiative
- CTSI partners with the School of Graduate Studies to deliver programming on graduate supervision
