Launch of Folio
This fall, the Co-Curricular Record (CCR) will celebrate its 10-year anniversary. The CCR provides a database of activities that allows students to search for opportunities beyond the classroom and keep track of their accomplishments. The CCR aims to prioritize the importance of co-curricular involvement at U of T, to recognize, celebrate and make sense of co-curricular experiences and to be a useful reference tool for students in their community, workplace, scholarly, professional and personal lives.
We are excited to announce that the CCR is being moved to a new platform, Folio, that will better support the student experience. Folio will allow students to identify, locate and engage with activities that align with their interests and identities while also encouraging students to further build and reflect on the skills they gain through engaging with co-curricular opportunities.
The CCR can still be found via the CLNx (Career & Co-Curricular Learning Network) and all previous experiences have been uploaded to the system so students can continue to track their engagement and skill acquisition in one place. If students have questions about the new system, they can find answers by logging into their Folio accounts and reviewing the frequently asked questions section.
The project team will continue to enhance the new system post-launch and we welcome insights and feedback from the community as we engage in this work. Faculty, staff and librarians will be granted access to the site in the coming days. To share your thoughts or ask questions, feel free to contact the CCR team at ccr@utoronto.ca regarding to Co-Curricular Record or Folio team at folio@utoronto.ca regarding the Folio site.
