UTM is facilitating a comprehensive review of available data, and collecting additional information via focus groups, related to the decisions of applicants/students who a) accepted an offer to UTM but did not register for classes (‘melted’) or b) attended and left UTM during their first year, while in good standing.
Outcomes
UTM is hopeful this research project will help us to better understand the decisions of these applicants/students and, resultingly, increase our ability to deploy interventions that support a) meeting our enrolment targets and b) better supporting our students.
