Virtual Learning Strategy

In early 2021, eCampusOntario announced funding to support the Government of Ontario’s Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS). The VLS provided a $50 million investment by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) intended to drive growth and advancement in virtual learning across the province’s post-secondary institutions both in response to COVID-19 as well as to help support Ontario’s postsecondary sector in continuing to develop digital innovations post-pandemic.

Across all three campuses, University of Toronto was successful in receiving funding for 32 projects totaling over $1.8 million. You can find more information about the VLS as well as explore funded projects using the button below.
