Description
The Centre for Teaching and Learning and Information and Instructional Technology Services invite you to consider applying for a grant to improve the infrastructure (equipment), content, delivery or assessment of your courses. You can also apply for funds to serve as matching funds required by some provincial (e.g. eCampus) and U of T grants. Funds are also available for Professional Development grants to help defray the cost of conferences or special training programs. Grant funds may not be utilized for the development of custom software applications for institutional use.
There are five categories of grants: (1) Teaching Equipment; (2) Teaching Software; (3) Teaching Enhancement; (4) Teaching Assessment; (5) Professional Development
Eligibility
- Appointed faculty who are members of UTFA, with continuing appointments in the tenure or teaching stream, including those in continuing part-time (67%+) appointments or term appointments of at least three years.
- For Professional Development Grants, full-time and part-time (67%+) appointed faculty at all ranks in the teaching stream and tenure stream, Sessional Lecturers II and III, and Writing Instructors 2 and 2 Priority are eligible. Special consideration will be given to pre-tenure and pre-continuing status faculty.
