Faculty of Music Award

Description

The University of Toronto Faculty of Music Teaching Award recognizes excellence, commitment and innovation in teaching, as well as the importance of these qualities in the academic experience of students at the University of Toronto. A $1000 prize will be awarded following announcement at the final Faculty Council meeting of the academic year for further investment in their teaching. It is anticipated that in most years one award will be made to a full-time teacher and one award will be made to a part-time teacher, although the decision to recommend multiple awards is at the discretion of the selection committee.
