- Alan Mewett Award for Excellence in Teaching
Student- Nominated Award. The Mewett Teaching Award will be given to one professor who exhibits excellence in teaching, as selected by the graduating class, at the post-Convocation ceremony. Nominations will customarily take place in early to mid-March, with voting by the graduating class taking place in mid- to late March.

The TLCC provides a maximum of $1500 towards the organization of teaching & learningfocused conferences or colloquia at UTM.

The TDT provides a maximum of $2000 for a UTM instructor to present at a pedagogical conference or in the pedagogical track at a disciplinary conference. This can be applied to both in-person as well as remote conferences.
